We stayed at the Fariyas (2 adults and a child) for 2 nights as a final stop-off in Mumbai before our flight home. Although we had booked a standard room, they instantly upgraded us to a fantastic suite on the top floor overlooking the harbour, at no extra charge. The hotel is spotless, very near to the Gateway of India and other major sights, and has excellent restaurants, with an extensive breakfast, both buffet and cooked (with a dedicated egg-chef) included in the price. The staff were very
courteous and caring as we had a child in our party, and allowed us to return later to freshen up in a spare room on the last day even though we had checked out. We wanted an excellent, clean hotel in central Mumbai without paying Taj Hotel prices and found all we wanted with the Fariyas.
